The picture speaks for itself. You need this in your life. It’s sweet, salty, beautiful, and great to have around during the holidays, or to give away as a gift. Bonus: no baking required.
Prep Time: 10 min
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Cheerios cereal
3 cups salted peanuts
3 cups pretzel twists
3 cups M&Ms (fall colors, red/green, or blue depending on the holiday)
20 oz white chocolate
Cover a baking sheet with wax paper. Mix everything but the white chocolate together and spread on the wax paper. Break the white chocolate into pieces and add to a microwave-save bowl. Melt it in the microwave at 50% power in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until it’s smooth. Use a spoon to drizzle the white chocolate over everything. Let it cool in the refrigerator until set, ~30 minutes. Break into chucks and store in an airtight container. Voila! Happy Holidays!
Note: If you prefer more white chocolate, you can add more and put everything into large plastic bags to coat it all with white chocolate. I’ve done this before, but it’s more effort and messy. I started the drizzle method and prefer it because it’s slightly less sweet and you get more variety of flavor in each bite from the other ingredients.
